People say that they are untalented, that they don’t know how
to express their emotions and true selves. Truly, they have lots of talents buried
deeply in their sole.
As soon as I entered the school door, I could smell the odor
of the toast the kids were having for breakfast. In addition, I could hear the
voices of the children shouting and see all of them jumping up and down in their seat. I
headed towards the fourth grade table and sat in between Sara and Jose, two of
my classmates. “Do you want to color?” said Sara. “Sure,” I answered. As Sara
handed me the crumbly paper, I looked in my backpack for some pencils. As soon
as found the pencils, I started to draw.
When the bell rang, everyone had to go to class.
Unfortunately, I had to put everything away. During I was putting my drawing away,
Jose asked me if he could see it. After I showed him the drawing, he loved it
and wanted it. He bothered me all day long until the day was finished. He
bothered me during I was eating breakfast, in class, during lunch, and
specials. At the end of the day, he even offered a dollar. Because he said
this, I realized that I was good at drawing. Everyone has something in them
that they could shine on and mine is drawing.
If
you haven’t found something you are good at, I recommend that you do, because
you could show who you really are.
